KYN Smoothie Bowl

This is the most delicious and eye-pleasing breakfast to sit and savor. If you like a good smoothie and you enjoy spooning into a parfait, we have the perfect fusion in our KYN Smoothie Bowl. We use frozen mixed berries with banana, oats, nut or seed butter, chia seed, and plant milk (but not too much, because we spoon this into our mouth rather than sip it, so consistency is key!). You can get creative with your toppings, however, we strongly recommend a crunchy granola-type layer on top - we use our Nut and Seed Granola, along with some shaved coconut and fresh figs. We always take care to include a healthy dose of fiber, fat, and protein for a balanced start to your day. Make it pleasing to the eye and your digestion will begin before you even take a bite! 

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups plant milk
1/2 cup oats
2 tbsp nut or seed butter
2 tsp chia seed
1 banana
1 cup frozen mixed berries

Toppings: coconut flakes, nut & seed granola, fresh fruit (we used figs!)

Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth.  Pour into two bowls and top with coconut flakes, granola, and fresh fruit.  Ready to serve!
